Sources and citations
When the assistant uses your class memory, it shows its work. Numbered citations and source chips tell you which file and passage backed each claim.
Reading citations
A marker like [1] in the reply links to the source it came from. A provenance row under grounded messages lists the documents and notes the assistant pulled from, so you can verify or read more.
Note. No citation means the answer came from the model's general knowledge, not your materials. Upload the relevant file if you want it grounded.
