Files vs Materials
A class has both a Files tab and a Materials tab. They look similar but hold different things.
The difference
| Tab | Holds |
|---|---|
| Files | Your notes and writing, organized into folders. |
| Materials | Uploaded documents (PDFs, slides, readings), including bulk folder uploads. |
Both feed class memory. Use Files for things you write, Materials for things you bring in.
